This small house (110 sq.mt.) is part of a larger building consisting of four units yet to be realized. It corresponds to the "tail" of the complex, located in one corner of the plot close to the street. Starting from the corner the house widens and grows in height towards the area of the future extension of the building, carefully encircling an oak tree growing on the border of the plot. The main elevation of the house, facing south and looking onto the tree, is curved in order to establish a connection with the oak and to create a pleasant and comfortable space on the outside. The house features an unconventional organization of spaces, with the living room and the kitchen located on the first floor - instead of on the ground floor as usual - in order to catch more light, to have a better view, to be more protected from the influence of the street and to use the height and the curved shape of the roof to achieve an architecturally impressive and large (with a maximum height inside of 4,20 meters) living room space. The master bedroom and a study room are located on the ground floor. The house also features several elements individually designed, such as curved window-sills, unconventional entrance doors and windows and built-in furniture.
