One of the most interesting activities when you are creating an object of design is observation. In the spring the observation of trees may lead to a reflection on their natural beauty or on their function. These observations gave the first stimulus for the creation of small wooden chairs. In the stream of creative thinking the question arose: What is the mission of modern design? And is it good if the forms that we see in nature are repeated in the objects of everyday life? Perhaps the time has come when the artist, observing nature, has a chance to see traces of the forces that shape it. Such an approach to modern design can be called research. And why should research not turn into creation? |
