The project of a children's playground was needed by a young family for the development of a 2-years old daughter, Masha, a child with special needs. Right at this age it is very important for children to develop a sense of movement and balance, therefore the decision to design and build the playground was taken very fastly.

The clients already knew all the elements that they wanted to include in the complex. We wanted to create a convenient, useful and pleasant area, possibly not expensive. On our side we tried to organize all the elements in the right order, connecting them with each other and keeping the trees growing in the area. The most important aspect in this project was to organize the space as an integrated environment, suitable for games and various activities. Together with Masha, this playground will be used by many of her friends with similar needs, a fact which was also taken into account in the design.

A variety of ladders, slides, bridges at different levels provide unlimited space for games and activities. Wooden mazes help to develop flexibility and mobility, inclined board stimulate the sense of balance. The sandbox has got borders of different height, on which one can walk and balance, and an expressive covering element, shaped as a benevolent "head". It was designed as a removable tent with the purpose of protecting the sand from rain and animals at night.
