A quiet village in a picturesque valley on the mountains of Crimea, an adobe house. The client, being a musician, needed a place away from the bustle for his creativity. On the site there was an old Tartar house made of adobe bricks. The size of the old structure had to be kept, according to the wishes of the client. Another request was to use natural materials (stone, wood). The walls are made of a mixture of clay, sand, straw and horse dung (adobe). The basic geometry of the old house was preserved, but the interior was transformed. The house is bright and airy with large windows and a free plan. The main and the most important space for the client is a large living room-studio for music and meetings with friends. The house features built-in furniture and niches and finishings in local clay and sandstone, providing a healthy, natural and harmonious environment.
