This house for one family features a passive solar heating system. The main windows open to the South. In the northern side of the house there are utility rooms, stairs and kitchen. The shape of the house responds to the qualities of the site, taking into consideration views, light, orientation and existing plants. At the same time the house grows out of the inner organization of family life and out of its needs of intense communication. The inside space has a flowing quality. The living room merges with the fireplace area and is connected to to the sleeping area upstairs through its double height.
