The house is located in a historic environment, close to the town center, and there was not much  space left on the site for landscaping. The owners wanted to have an area  for flower beds, a children's playground, a Japanese garden at the end of the site, an entrance zone showing the social  status of the family and green hedge protecting the garden from the road.

All these wishes were not easy to combine in a single solution, but we  tried to cope with this challenge. The two zones of the Japanese garden to the right and left of the "hunting hall" of the house have different qualities. In the one part we located a pond with a small waterfall with night illumination, a bridge across it, a walking path in the "stones' garden" with traditional Japanese lanterns and bells. In the other part a gazebo for relax and a barbecue separate the Japanese garden from the pool area. This area is thickly surrounded by twine plants and includes some bigger trees with bright foliage. Here again we find a path lit by traditional lanterns.
